Dr. Dev A. Brar, MD
President
Dr. Dev Brar, President of Nightingale Home Healthcare, was born and educated in India. After completing medical training and passing the exams to practice in the United States, he became interested in health care for seniors. In 1990, he, one nurse, and one accounting person set up shop in a leased facility and began offering services to the elderly. He soon learned that most patients preferred to remain in their homes even though they needed some assistance to do so. Filled with compassion to assist the elder community to stay at home, Dr. Brar began offering medical monitoring, and was the first and only company to do so at that time. Now with this extra assistance, elderly residents could stay at home while their vital signs were sent to medical professionals on a daily basis, a step that saved them tiring and sometimes-unmanageable trips to a physician's office.

Dr. Brar's passion to assist the senior community has led him to stay affront of new technology that may help the sick and disabled. In addition to home monitoring, NG offers photo light therapy. Dr. Brar believes passionately that if he can help one senior preserve their independence and dignity by remaining in their home as long as possible, then the investment of new technology and the employment of high quality professionals are well worth the extra commitment.

From the days of the one room office and the three person staff, Dr. Brar is back home on Rangeline Road in a four million dollar national headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, where each day at Nightingale is filled with long hours by office and field staff striving to serve the elderly with courtesy, professionalism and compassion.

Dr. Brar is the father of four daughters. He resides in Carmel, Indiana and enjoys a pastime of golf.
