The last quarter of the year is upon us.
All we want is to wish the best of health, happiness and propriety for all our clients and employees. The holiday season is almost here, but for our employees everyday of the year is a time for giving and caring. We want to make sure that all our clients experience the “Nightingale Experience,” an experience which brings a change for the better in their lives.
September also saw the first deposit from the company in the retirement plans for all our employees who worked 1000 hours or more in the year 2002. Although Nightingale has always offers either 401K or a simple IRA for our employees these deposits are special. They are special because these are in a profit sharing plan. This is another milestone to show appreciation of our employees.
Taking care of our clients is our primary focus, but that cannot be accomplished without happy and productive employees. This investment in their future (retirement) assures them a piece of mind that will help them reciprocate the very same to our clients.
The previous quarter also saw another accomplishment for Nightingale. Effective July 23, 2003. Nightingale Home Healthcare of Illinois became licensed under Medicare. Although we started rendering services to clients in early 2003 it was not until July 23rd that the licensing formalities were completed. All of our appreciation goes to Ms. Debbie Griffin, RN (Director) and Ms. Monica Urman (office clerk). They worked hard and efficiently to make this happen. Although the office in Illinois is located in Burr Ridge, Nightingale services clients in Cook, Will and Dupage counties. Burr Ridge is about a twenty five minute drive to downtown Chicago. Laura Mulan, has joined the staff as a field nurse, also contributes to the continued success of this new office. Congratulations to Debbie, Monica and Laura.
In September 2003 Nightingale Home Healthcare, Inc. extended the exclusivity contracted with Hommed to remain the only agency in Central Indiana to provide daily home monitoring at no charge for all of our Medicare clients. This is another way that Nightingale Home Healthcare, Inc. will always be a leader in providing the highest quality of homecare for our clients.
