Nightingale displays the technology it has adopted to enhance the care of its patients
Carmel, Indiana, April 28, 2004 - April 28th 2004 was a wonderful day. Just a day earlier it was only in the 40s and chilly. It was in the 70s and sunny on this auspicious occasion. This was the second annual Open House and what a success it was. Over 200 people attended from frail elderly people looking to know more about Nightingale to concerned adults who wanted to find more and more ways to help their parents to current patients of Nightingale and a lot (I mean Lot) of people aspiring to be future employees of Nightingale. Piper Kirby and Joe Sidiel took the initiative and made all this possible with their team. I want to thank and congratulate them for putting a Fabulous show. The food was in abundance and I personally heard lots of people praising it and taking every opportunity to go back to the beautifully laid out food tables. The only thing we ran out (At 6PM) of course was the white chocolate cheese cake. There were wraps, different kind of chicken, meatballs, different kinds of salads and vegetables, pizza bread, pasta and a lot more.

Then there was the display of technology that Nightingale has adopted to enhance the care of its patients. There were representatives from our exclusive partners (In Central Indiana) Hommed telemonitoring. This monitoring service is available to Nightingale's patients only in Central Indiana. Then the new partners from Carematix (Nightingale's exclusive partners in Indiana and Chicago land Area in Illinois) sent their representative to show the second generation of tele monitoring that is already available to our Illinois patients and will be soon available to our Indiana patients. Then there was the representative from Secure Care the newest technology in obtaining physician orders (exclusive partners with Nightingale in Indiana and Illinois) and expediting better and faster care for our patients.

Our special thanks goes to Mr Dick Crum (Dr Dirt) from the radio station WIBC 1070 of Central Indiana. Mr Crum is also the voice of NIghtingale Home Healthcare,Inc on that radio station. He mingled with the guests and made sure that they were well taken care of.

Dan Hollis and Pam Kissel made sure that they dispersed every bit of information to the people who wanted to know more about NIghtingale and its services. Patricia Kirby and Nicola Fox made sure that they welcomed each and every guest with a lovely smile and before they mingled with the rest they registered them for Door Prizes which included beside other things beautiful potted plants and tickets to the Pacers Playoffs. Karen Moore talked with every potential employee and I had to ask her to take time to get a bite to eat. Natalie Richardson found time to go out and meet with people inspite of her busy schedule inside. Piper Kirby made sure that everything was being done right inside inspite of being so busy outside. GREAT JOB EVERY BODY.

Overall it was a very beautiful affair and we can wait for the last Wednesday in April 2005.
