Many of the Lafayette seniors are glad they had attended the Open House and are pleased for the opportunity to meet our staff and learn about our services.
Carmel, Indiana, July 28, 2005 - The introduction of Nightingale to the Lafayette area was commemorated by an Open House, which was held July 28 in the Lafayette Senior Center.
Our entire marketing staff was on hand for the event. They assisted in taking blood pressures, explaining our services, and just getting acquainted with the Lafayette residents. Representatives from Carematix, Anodyne Therapy, and HomeMed were present to offer the seniors advice about glucometers and diabetic supplies and to demonstrate the various monitors and therapies. Nightingale's human resources department was also in attendance to provide information to perspective employees.
Jugs Catering served up a home-style fried chicken meal to approximately 300 in attendance. Along with rave reviews about the meal, many of the Lafayette seniors applauded the efforts of the Nightingale staff for providing the opportunity to get acquainted with our company and learn about our services.
Courtney Copeland, Marketer for Nightingale, put the festivities together with the help from several of the members from the Lafayette center. Courtney said that the extra help provided by the seniors who dressed the tables, stuffed envelopes, and set out chairs contributed to the success of the event.
The Open House was broadcasted on the oldies radio station, and televised on the local cable TV station. Through the interviews, Courtney was able to give first hand information about Nightingale and our services. It was a hat's off kind of day for Nightingale who is now better known to Lafayette and her citizens.
Congratulations to all who contributed to the success of the program.
