Nightingale honors it's employees for excellent performance at it's 10th annual banquet
December 9th, 2006 (Carmel, IN) --
Nightingale's annual holiday banquet for employees grows in attendance each year. This year's celebration, which commemorated the company's tenth year anniversary, broke the attendance record with nearly 400 employees and guests present.
Ten Employee of the Year awards were presented to field and office personnel, along with several (first time) team awards. In addition to these awards, every employee having at least one year of service with the company was presented a diamond studded pin. Each pin contained a diamond for every year of service up to five years.
Following are some of the award recipients:
- Home Health Aides of the Year: Jennifer Kauffman & Roxanne Bass
- Trooper of the Year: Becky Schmitt R.N.
- Therapist of the Year: Milan Patel P.T.
- Nurse of the Year: Kimberly McMurtry R.N
- Marketer of the Year: Tammi Siddens
- Excellent Organizer: Nicola Fox
- Office Employee of the Year: Melinda Jewell, Patricia Gunn & Debbie Griffin
- Employee of the Decade: Piper Kirby
- Entire Scheduling Team for excellent performance
Dr. Dev Brar, President of Nightingale Home Healthcare, gave an update of the company's status and future plans for the coming year including:
- The company's continued growth in retirement packages, including profit sharing
- The new office complex will be ready for occupancy by the end of the month (January)
- Nightingale will begin serving hospice patients during 2007
- The publication of a national health magazine, Radius
- The addition of daycare for seniors in the new complex
- The purchase of a new Nightingale facility in Las Vegas, Nevada
In conclusion, a time was set aside during the festivities to honor all the men and women who are serving our country in the military forces and bring recognition to their contributions on our behalf.
