The following is a quote from the son-in-law of a client:
"I recently had the pleasure of working with Deidra Loyd (Social Worker) concerning my mother in law. Her Medicare benefits will soon run out and Deidra has provided help in applying and working through all the red tape. She has been available for information and direction even after her normal working hours. Nightingale should be proud to have her on staff. We have also been blessed with outstanding nursing help from Rob Maines and Julie Miller (aide) is great. Christy Gray (Marketing) has helped us through problems as well. We are so happy to be dealing with Nightingale for nearly a year and look forward to continued service."

A client called to tell me that our nurse, Nan Gregori, checked her medications carefully after a doctor's appointment and discovered that the pharmacy had given her the wrong medication. Nan then checked with the doctor's office and the pharmacy and the situation was resolved.

I spoke with the patient who said he very much likes Dawn. He describes her as very dedicated, caring, professional, yet firm enough to motivate him to keep up on PT/Exercise routine that he likes to slack off on.

Pt called to give a "Thank you from the bottom of her heart" to Noel Felipe, PT and Becky Schmitt, RNSV. "If Noel hadn't been there and called the ambulance for her she feels sure she could have died with her asthma attack" Passed "Thank you" to appropriate staff and thanked pt for sharing the praise. She also stated that the "laser" tx has helped her pain so much. Her breathing is much easier today and she sounded at ease.

Dear Dr. Brar,
My name is Peggy Chase and I live in Roselle, IL.
After I had a hip replacement by Dr. Kuensis, some of your nurses and two of your Physical Therapists came to my home for two weeks and gave me superior care.
In my lifetime I have never met an entire group of people who are so pleasent and friendly as well as professionally accommplished as all my care givers were. I am personally grateful to them and to you as their team leader.

I just want to thank you for your great team who helped my wife, Patsy Peterson, recover from a difficult cancer process at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Your home care support has been a great help. I thank Jan Howard, Brenda Garrett Johnston, and Ms. Carman Getz-each one did their job with love and care.

We now have word that Pat's cancer is back. We are not sure what will happen after seven weeks of radiation treatment, but maybe we can start over again.

You have a great team. Please continue to help others as you did us.

Dear Aspire,

I recently was served by you, after total hip replacement surgery on
January 31.

My visiting nurse was Mara Young, and my visiting physical therapist
was Chuck Grauerhoiz.

Both were excellent. Since Chuck is a new employee on probation, let
me elaborate on Chuck.

I have been through four knee surgeries, in addition to my recent hip
replacement, so I have a great deal of experience with physical
therapists, and the problems they in prescribing suitable therapy.

Chuck is the best I have seen. he is particularly good about sizing up
the patient and adjusting the therapy to him. In addition Chuck is
pleasant and personable. I always looked forward to his visits.

I would appreciate if this letter is placed in Chuck's personnel file, after
being forwarded to the appropriate person (e.g., the office director)

This is to call your favorable attention to the professional work of Leanne Bolton, CNA at Parkside Court. September 24, 2007, was the start of her services here. Leanne is always prompt and efficient. She is precise and exacting in her attention to details. She is an invaluable asset to the Nightingale Home Healthcare organization. She exemplifies and projects a high level of professionalism and attention to duty, combined with true empathy and understanding. She is well groomed and has a cheerful disposition at all times. She maintains a high level of decorum, dignity, and modesty in her attention to my requirements.

I am delighted to know, at last, that home healthcare can be administered in the manner that Leanne provides; smooth operation, no hesitation, or inefficiency. In my experience with two other agencies, the service was marked by situations in which caregivers assigned did not report to duty and I was often not notified that I would be without service. In other instances, the caregivers would be very late and without excuse. In many cases, the individual assigned was not competent to fulfill the task. I was put in the position of "training officer" who was required to talk the individual through the assignment. In the past four months, I have a caregiver who is not only prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable in healthcare, but also one who ministers to my requirements so that my mind is at ease and my daily life runs smoothly.

Dear Dr.Brar,
I have had Nightingale care for the last year. I have only good things to say about the wonderful girls who attended to my needs.
Kim McMurty and Karen Swafford are caring, kind and competent nurses. They took care of sores and drew blood often for coumadin levels. Best of all they have become friends.
My physical therapist, Nancy Henning worked wonders with me. I went from almost completely immobile to now driving a car again. She was always cheerful and encouraging and we looked forward to her visits. I was very fortunate to have such a competent therapist.
The end of July I had to say, "so long" to Karen and Nancy. I sure will miss them.
I had to let you know about my wonderful experiences. I would call Nightingale again id needed and I tell my family and friends about the great care Nightingale provides.

Dear Ms. Yepma :
I am 84 years of age,and a victim of Parkinsons Disease for the past 12 years. I wont bore you with the details of where I've been, nor with the persistant obstacles which invade my every day existence. Conscious of hyperbolie, please trust there is none lurking in my comments.
While it may represent a personal view, Dan Wiseman has done more for my anxieties.. .my fear of falling down.. .my reluctance to exercise.. .and all those useful efforts at minimizing the burden I have become to my family,than any of the doctors and assorted professionals who have taken aim at all of them.
Although he has me tethered to an elastic waistband, he has succeeded in getting me to park my walker, and walk the huge hallways on my floor employing nothing more than a cane. Up until his gentle prodding, I wouldn't try something like that for all the rewards in the world. ..nor do I want to bore you with what this man has meant to my physce.
Nor is it my intent to bore you to death with my ramblings. Dan has done more for me in a short time, than any other professional (other than my wife ). . .. and I wanted you to know about it.
