I am grateful for Memorial Day. I am grateful because the day makes us pause to reflect upon those who have sacrificed so dearly to maintain freedom in these great United States. Of course, most of us don’t need a particular date to think about or pray about our military service people, because they occupy our thoughts and prayers daily. However, just like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and other days of celebration, it is good to have a day that causes us to take time out to honor and glorify those who give so that others can benefit. Service men and women…I salute you!
