The smile plays such an integral part in a persons self image, that improving it can positively influence your health significantly. The lives that I have seen changed blows me away. You may want to wait on any plastic surgery decisions until after you see what can be done to enhance your smile. An improved smile can motivate you to better eating habits and take away some of the wrinkles around your lips. There is something about it that makes your eyes sparkle as well. I am speaking from what I see on a daily basis. When I take portraits of my patients after they have had their smile makeover, there is not one that hasn't looked 5+ years younger and by their 6 month cleaning, they even look better. Talk with your cosmetic dentist. You may be on the verge of a life changing decision that can save you money and improve your health over the long run. That is enough to make us all smile more.
